How We Started

BrightSkillLearning was founded after witnessing thousands of talented Kenyans fail their IELTS or OET exams — not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked access to quality, affordable preparation.

We started with a small team of passionate teachers and a simple mission: make exam success possible for every Kenyan, wherever they are, whatever their budget.

2021
Founded in Nairobi
Started with 3 teachers and 50 students — focused entirely on IELTS preparation.
2022
M-Pesa Integration
Introduced M-Pesa payments — enrollment doubled within 3 months as students across Kenya joined.
2023
OET & PTE Courses Added
Expanded to serve nurses, doctors and health professionals with OET and PTE preparation.
